High Precision Custom Stylus for Special Applications

Star stylus: It consists of four or five ruby ball systems firmly installed on a stainless-steel star stylus base. This type of stylus can be used to measure various different shapes and structures. It is designed for multi-tip detection of complex shapes and holes. Its calibration uses multiple probes, so it can minimize the movement of the probe and measure side holes or slots, etc. It is calibrated in the same way as a spherical probe.
Disc stylus: A probe in the shape of a disc made by cutting off the middle part of a ball. Since the cross-section of the disc is spherical, the calibration principle is the same as that of a spherical probe. It measures using the outer diameter part or the thickness part. It is used for holes, internal relief grooves, and recesses that cannot be reached by star styli, such as the dimensions between bottleneck surfaces, the width or shape of slots, etc. It is more convenient to calibrate using a ring gauge.
