The DMA high-precision tool setting arm series is suitable for tool setting and detection in turning centers. It consists of a fixed base and a moving arm; a contact probe is installed on the moving arm. This series of arms is suitable for various types of spindles or tools. The tool setting arm and the base are equipped with a torque motor to realize the swinging out and swinging back of the tool arm, which increases the degree of automation. More importantly, the swinging out and swinging back of the tool arm can be programmed into the machining program through M codes. During the machining cycle, the automatic measurement and compensation of tool wear values and the monitoring of tool breakage can be conveniently realized. When combined with an automatic loading and unloading mechanism, unmanned machining can be achieved.
